Each week Starcross Monastic Community sends out three emails to our online community:

Monday Haiku: Written and shared by companions and members of the Starcross community.
Wednesday Virtual "Walks" Around Starcross: Our "Walk" was initially a response to COVID-19: to share our small corner of the world by providing a virtual window into nature during a time when so many were feeling isolated. As the years have passed, we also find it is a great way for new folks to gain a sense of our space—gardens, farm, forest and more—all of which is perpetually protected by a Conservation Easement. For those who over the many years have visited, lived or worked side-by-side with us, we have have been told these "walks" bring back fond memories, and keeps them connected.
Friday Reflections & Writing by Brother Toby and the Publication Committee:  Spiritual Director and co-founding member of Starcross Monastic Community, Brother Toby has been writing on spiritual, personal, social, political and cultural issues for decades. Each week Brother Toby or a member of the Publication Committee offers Reflections on the world, and the ways we seek to understand and find our place in it.

Weekly "Walks"

Oh no! We're sad to see you go! You can unsubscribe here. You can also change your preferences at any time to receive less from us by using the link at the bottom of any of our emails.

This happens! Here are a couple of suggestions for you to try.

1) Sometimes people forward an email and a friend accidentally unsubscribes them! You can always re-subscribe. We also recommend always using the Forward icon when sharing an email. This prevents accidental email subscription changes.

2) Sometimes our emails go to Spam or Bulk Mail. If you haven't already checked, we suggest you look there. Then, add community@starcross.org to your address book.

Still having trouble? Send us an email directly and we can check things out.

At the top and/or bottom of each email you will see an icon with "Share" or "Forward". 

Use Forward (envelope icon) to send in an email. This way prevents people from accidentally changing your list subscription.

Use Share (Facebook icon) to share to your Facebook page.

Many images come from around Starcross, and are taken by folks that live and work here and fall under the SMC copyright. We also use free licensed images by Pixabay or Unsplash. The views of content creators do not necessarily reflect the views of Starcross Monastic Community.

At the bottom of any email you've recently received you will find a link to update your preferences.
