San Francisco to Santa Rosa:
- Option 1: If you fly into San Francisco, you can take the Airporter from SFO to the Sonoma County Airport in Santa Rosa for $42. This takes about 2 hours and 15 minutes, depending on traffic (and traffic can be messy, so factor in a bit of a time cushion!). Visit this link above for schedules, fares, and more information.
- Option 2: Take the Golden Gate Transit Bus 101/101x North to Santa Rosa for $12.75. This takes about 2 hours and 45 minutes. (There aren’t bathrooms on the bus, so be sure to ask the driver when longer stops will be!). If you are taking this route from SFO, you will need to get from the airport to one of the bus stops on Route 101. This can be done using a ride sharing app, BART (subway), or by bus; though the BART is the most direct and costs $5. You can take BART to the Civic Center where you can then pick up Bus 101. The bus also stops along Van Ness Avenue. For bus stops and the schedule, visit this link for more information. You can also call: 511 (toll-free) or 415-921-5858
Santa Rosa to Gualala:
There is one bus (MTA Rt 95) a day from Santa Rosa to Gualala. The fare is $8.25, paid by cash, and leaves from the Sonoma County Airport at 3:45 pm. If you are taking the Airporter from SFO, this is where you catch the bus. It also leaves from the Santa Rosa Transit Mall at 4:15, which is the best place to stop if you are taking Bus 101. The MTA RT. 95 bus arrives at Gualala (Sundstrom Mall) around 6:45 pm. Find more information here. We will be there waiting for you to bring you up to Starcross!
